Savka Marenić graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Czech Technical University in Prague, and from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica. In her practice she connects architecture with public pedagogy, art and site-specific performative interventions in public space. She is founder of fairies, a textile practice for creating soft interactive objects for adults and children. She often invites children to collaborate with her on alternative narratives about urban spaces. She currently works as an independent architect and is a PhD student at Umprum,Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
