This digital publication was created in the context of a workshop held in Brno in summer 2023.The workshop on the creation of house signs took place  on the small square in the former workers' colony. During one day, residents gathered around a table and shared their stories and memories that they have in the neighborhood.

The house sign, as an artistic element on the facades of buildings, historically represented a captured memory of a given place, a fictional identity of the people who lived there, or helped with orientation in the city.

This publication is produced as another guide to the workers' colony, which should bring to life the direct stories of the residents and their house signs.
